Foundation Engineering

01

Bored Piles (BP)

A cost-saving, versatile and environmental friendly piling system, this bored cast in-situ method is effective for very high column load requirement where variable pile sizes and lengths are easily accommodated.

02

Micropiles (MP)

These small diameter (below 400mm diameter) bored cast in-situ piles are suitable as foundation in confined areas and adverse ground conditions such as limestone areas. It is also used to underpin buildings that require additional foundation support.

03

Diaphragm Wall (DW)

Diaphragm wall is a technique whereby reinforced concrete retaining walls are cast in-situ from existing ground level down to the required depth. This system has the edge of giving a comparably smooth retaining wall surface after excavation.

04

Contiguous Bored Piles (CBP)

The contiguous bored pile wall is a series of cast in-situ bored piles spaced at between 50mm to 150mm between each pile with a tie beam cast on top to enable the piles to act as a rigid entity. It can cater very deep basement excavation works either as a free-standing wall or enhanced with ground anchors with extreme ground conditions. A water-tight system can be formed through interspersing the spaces between piles with jet grout columns.

05

Driven Piles (DP)

Pre-cast driven piles are a very cost-effective method suitable for fast track construction projects that only require low to medium foundation loading support with relatively good load bearing soil to be found within 20m from the soil surface.

06

Secant Piles (SP)

The secant pile wall is a contiguous bored wall made up of primary unreinforced and secondary reinforced piles at alternate positions to form a rigid water tight retaining system. It is suited for tight site conditions or where rocks and boulders are encountered.
